NHS Lanarkshire has announced a set of proposals to replace the existing Monklands Hospital in Airdrie. Gartcosh has emerged at this stage as the “highest scoring” option. Glenmavis is also being considered as a new location.
The new proposal is on the site of the old steelworks, near the Crime Campus.
NHS Lanarkshire is running a consultation up until October 15th – we urge everyone to get involved by reading and replying to the consultation. You can submit your feedback online here.
